Sorta Disappointing

It kills me to give this a 3 1/2 star review I loved this series.. I have been waiting for what feels like forever for this to come out and I have to say I was a little disappointed.. I feel like the author rushed the story just to get it over with.. she has too many other series out and I think this one fell to the bottom of the list.. the beginning had a few editing problems (and I NEVER notice then in other books)the characters felt different then in the first 2.. Aiden changed the most and we hardly read about him..he was the sweetest most innocent of the group and all of a sudden hes the worst of the bunch.. Sylas is still the best character in the book till the end and then he did a 360 attitude adjustment it didn't seem believeable and Kayla fulfilled her destiny but she adjusted way to fast to her new mind set.. the end was very anti climatic. the end wrapped up way to soon in my opinion.. it could have been so much better.. I never give this long a review but this book really upset me..

ehhh, it was alright

So I liked that everything comes together at the end nicely the way the final installment of trilogy should. There are no loose ends, and all gets resolved. Although I did like this book, I didn’t love it. Maybe it’s been too long since I read the last book, or perhaps the science behind all the virus and cure explanations didn’t sound believable. I can’t put my finger on it, but I just didn’t find myself caring for the characters the way I did in the previous books. ***spoiler alert*** When one of the three main characters dies at the end, I didn’t even mind. So if you read the first three, and are dying to know how it all ends, then pick this one up.

Jessica Sorensen has the most incredible way of pulling you into her stories. This series was intense because Kayla had so many hurdles to overcome. But I felt like I was in there with her every minute. Good read if you like paranormal.
